With Netflix drama Squid Game being the new hot thing, fans have come up with a Call Of Duty: Warzone loadout to replicate the show.
Squid Game has exploded in popularity within what seems like the blink of an eye. The South Korean Netflix drama is what nearly everybody is talking about at the moment. So, with children already replicating it in the playground, it was only a matter of time before fans started coming up with ways to insert the show into video games.
Since Squid Game’s concept is already quite similar to a battle royale, with hundreds of players competing at once to win the grand prize, battle royale video games such as Call Of Duty: Warzone are the perfect place to recreate it.
There’s no official Squid Game mode or event (not yet anyway) and no means of dressing up as the characters in the show without a mod. But fans on TikTok have come up with next best thing: a specific weapon loadout.
TikTok user ramenwz has posted the challenge to fellow Squid Game fans to try and get as many kills as possible with this loadout. In case you can’t make out what the loadout is in the video, it consists of an MP5 and the Magnum sidearm.
For the MP5, you’ll want the Compensator Barrel, Tac Laser, and Stippled Grip Tape; as well as the Sleight of Hand Perk, which lets you reload your weapon 50% faster than usual. It’s not the exact same weapon used in the show but, for now, it’s the closest thing you’re going to get.
It remains to be seen if this loadout is any good competitively, but it’s ultimately not meant to be and is more of an excuse to mix things up and have fun.

There are currently no plans for a season 2 of Squid Game but, given the fan demand and the show’s popularity, Netflix is likely commissioning one as we write. If/when this happens, game publishers like Activision will no doubt jump at the opportunity to properly integrate Squid Game into their own titles in some form.
After all, Call Of Duty: Warzone has already crossed over with Rambo, Die Hard, and, most recently, Judge Dredd. Aside from the costumes worn in the show, new modes based on the playground games could be included as well.
Call Of Duty: Warzone is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
