Even though the Rays started off with a dominant win in Game 1, they now find themselves at crossroads. In the second game of the series, Boston red Sox turned the tables in their favor, putting on a match-winning performance.
The Red’s thrashed the Rays in their Game 2 comeback, drawing the series at 1-1. On Sunday, the two teams competed in Game 3 of the series, as the Red Sox triumphed over the Rays by 6-4. The series now reads 2-1 to the Red Sox.

The sudden reverse of fortune came in the 13th inning when Christian Vazquez shot a two-run walk-off home run. Notably, the win did not come without controversy. As Red Sox got the advantage of a ground-rule double, the Tampa Bay Rays lost.

While Red Sox clinched the match, undeniably, Tampa Bay Rays performed neck-to-neck with them. Both the teams weren’t ready to lose as the match went up to the 13th inning. With that result, the Boston Red Sox are now just one win away from securing the American League Division Series.
