Eugenie Bouchard targets a quick return

Recently, Eugenie donned a new role as a commentator with the microphone, giving voice to a match at the Indian Wells 2021. Notably, she opened up on the possibility of a quick return to the court. She said, “Thank you for asking. It’s going well. So it’s been over four months now, so I’m looking forward to getting on the court. I’m going to meet the doctor once I’m done working over here this week. I’ll meet him in New York next week. And he’ll give me the clear if I can get on the court yet.”

Speaking of her recent performances, Eugenie has not been consistent with her results. Over the past six seasons, she has been unable to make it to the second week of a Grand Slam event. Hence, expectations will be high on her return, but patience from fans is important.

As she targets a long-due return, it will be great if she gets the clearance to compete on the biggest of stages once again. The Canadian is quite a prominent figure on the Tour and has widened her fan base with her on-screen shenanigans. Hence, fans would bawl their eyes out to see her smash a few aces once again.
