Stacey Solomon confirms she and Joe Swash have chosen baby girl’s name

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have finally chosen a name for their newborn baby girl.

The ‘incredible’ baby girl was born on 4 October, sharing her birthday with mum Stacey, and has so far been without a name.

She is the couple’s second child together and first daughter, with three older brothers including Stacey’s two sons from a previous relationship, and the Loose Women star has been sharing updates of life with her young family.

From sweet snaps of the three proud brothers meeting their sister for the first time, to an honest account of the pressures of motherhood as Stacey struggles to breastfeed, and asking the public for help naming their newest addition, the couple have been joyously sharing all the big moments on social media.

Now Stacey has revealed that, at one week old, their baby daughter finally has a name.

Stacey took to Instagram Stories where she told her followers ‘we’ve chosen her name’!

‘We’ve been calling her [that name] and a couple of others for the last few days and it’s this one, just feels like it is definitely who she is.’

In the video, where a content-looking Stacey is cuddling her daughter while the three older children are at school, she said she and Joe will soon be choosing a middle name ‘while we walk in the garden’, which could hint at a flower or nature-based middle name for the baby girl.

‘I can’t wait to share it with you,’ the proud mum told fans.

Delighted dad Joe also took to Instagram Stories where he shared a rarer update of his life, with a montage of his kids and wife and the words: ‘Lots of you asking where I’ve been.

‘Just been having the best week of my life. Trying to make myself useful to be honest,’ he joked.

‘Giving all our big boys as much love as I can and looking after our girls.

‘It’s just been so amazing to do this all again. And to see the boys fall in love with their sister. Our daughter.

‘Still doesn’t feel real.’
