WATCH: Kevin Durant Tears Apart the Sixers’ Defense with a Boss Move

The Brooklyn Nets took their first preseason loss as they squandered against the Sixers. They looked completely disorganised and could not find their rhythm until it was too late. As a result, even with Kevin Durant putting on a show, the visitors lost 104-115 to their top EC rivals.

Outside of James Harden and KD, the Nets failed to show any offensive teeth against Doc Rivers’ men. However, with a decent final quarter and a crazy night for the Sniper, the Nets still had some positives to take home.

Kevin Durant and his timeless scoring prowess

At one during the second quarter, with the Nets still 12 points behind the 76ers, KD showed the strength of his artillery. He did absolute justice to a pass from Jevon Carter when he cut through the traffic to convert a “sweet move”

Take a look at how he went past Furkan Korkmaz, Georges Niang, and Paul Reed to score a tough bucket.

Durantula looked very dangerous at the Wells Fargo Center. He scored a team-high 23 points at 69.2% field shooting and 66.7% accuracy from the three-point range. Although he could not do much defensively, the low turnover rate and a decent camaraderie with James Harden were a relief.

The Brooklyn Nets star did justice to his young fan’s GOAT praise

Although Kevin Durant never finds his name in the GOAT debate, a young fan recently made a case for him. During the Nets’ annual practice at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, a kid met the 2x NBA Champion and said, “KD, you’re the best player ever!”

Well, KD’s 23 points in under 26 minutes proved that he has enough gas in him to fight for the GOAT accolade. Last year, KD had the best postseason of his career as far as his numbers were concerned. If not for those injury woes and that shoe-size misfortune, chances were strong that KD had his third ring very much assured.

And this season, he is off to a better start than the likes of LeBron James. So do you see him having an MVP-level season? Help us know in the comments below.
