It’s not long now until we’re belting our hearts out to Adele’s brand new single, Easy On Me, and let’s face it, we’re all counting down the hours.
The 33-year-old announced the track earlier this month after weeks of speculation about her next album, believed to be titled 30.
Easy On Me, a ballad, will be the Hello hitmaker’s first song since 2016 when she released her third studio album 25.
She then embarked on a mammoth world tour before taking a lengthy hiatus to spend time with her son and privately deal with her divorce from husband Simon Konecki.
As fans clear space on their Spotify playlists to usher in the new Adele era, the singer has revealed exactly what time to expect the song to drop.
What time will Easy On Me be released?
Adele won’t make us wait long for Easy On Me as she has confirmed it will be released at midnight on Friday October 15 in the UK. It should be available to stream on all platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
‘Easy On Me – October 15 – Midnight UK,’ read a tweet on Adele’s official Twitter account.
It also included the Easy On Me single cover; a black and white side profile photo of Adele with her hair in big loose curls.
What is Easy On Me about?
During a surprise Instagram Live over the weekend, Adele generously played a teaser clip of the piano-led ballad featuring some of the lyrics.
She sings: ‘There is no gold in this river that I’ve been washing my hands in forever.

‘I know there is hope in these waters, but I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning in the silence, baby let me…’
Adele has already revealed that Easy On Me – and her new album in general – was inspired by her divorce from Simon and specifically what she wants their son, Angelo, to know about the split.

Opening up about the end of her marriage to Vogue, the singer explained: ‘It just wasn’t… It just wasn’t right for me anymore.
‘I didn’t want to end up like a lot of other people I knew. I wasn’t miserable miserable, but I would have been miserable had I not put myself first.
‘But, yeah, nothing bad happened or anything like that.’
Easy On Me is out on Friday.
