Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov – The Rivalry

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov fought each other at UFC 229. In the buildup to the fight, both fighters said a lot of things, mostly Conor. Conor said things about Khabib’s manager, his religion, which made the rivalry even more intense.

The two fighters met in the octagon at UFC 229, and Khabib came out on top. He beat McGregor via submission in the fourth round. Things from there only escalated, as, after the fight, Khabib jumped out of the cage and attacked Conor’s teammate Dillon Danis. After that, a few of Khabib’s teammates entered the octagon to attack Conor.

The rivalry doesn’t seem to have died down even after over three years since the fight. The two are constantly seen taking a dig at each other, and this incident is the latest in the book.
