Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran performed a number of duets together on stage last night at a special concert in London.
Coldplay fans had flocked to the O2 Arena in Shepherd’s Bush Empire for a special one-off show to celebrate the upcoming release of the band’s ninth studio album, Music of The Spheres.
The intimate atmosphere, including a venue which holds only around 2,000 people compared to the sold-out stadiums the band generally play, already had fans feeling emotional.
And when Chris surprised fans by introducing megastar Ed to the stage, the crowd, understandably, went wild.
The Galway Girl singer joined Chris, Guy, Phil, Jonny and Will on the stage for a haunting rendition of the band’s 2005 hit Fix You.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, Ed later returned to perform his new single, Shivers, and 2017 number one Shape Of You with the band.

Fans lucky enough to be at the once-in-a-lifetime show have been sharing some of the most spectacular moments on social media, particularly the surprise duet, and the joy from the crowd is palpable.
All proceeds from last night’s unique show went to environmental charity ClientEarth, whose organisation fights for changes in the law to protect nature.
A spokesperson for the charity thanked Chris and Coldplay, adding: ‘It makes the world of difference to what we can achieve’.
Coldplay’s album Music Of The Spheres, will be released this Friday, October 15.
