‘He Can Jump Over Me If He Wants’ – Josh Allen An Instant Hit In Buffalo Bills Locker Room

Josh Allen made instant headlines as he leaped over a Kansas City Chiefs defensive player to score a crucial first down for Buffalo Bills. The young quarterback drew more attention to his performance after outclassing Patrick Mahomes. But speaking about the leap, it received some hilarious reactions from his coach and teammates.

Josh Allen earns praise from his coach and teammates

Beating Kansas City Chiefs in such a dominant fashion is a fine feather in Josh Allen’s cap. He held them down and trounced over them, putting on an MVP worthy performance. With 315 yards covered, three touchdowns and 15 successful attempts out of 26 put him in the upper echelon of quarterbacks for this week.

Speaking of upper echelon, Bills coach Sean McDermott is surely in a league of his own right now. Allen’s leap delighted him as he gave a hilarious response to a question about the leap. While some suggested leaping over the defender would be a risk, Sean said, “I’ll take it. Yeah, I’ll take that first down. He can jump over me if he wants for that first down.”

Offensive lineman Dion Dawkins also weighed on Allen’s exquisite athleticism. “Knowing the situation, how the game was going, I just felt like we needed something to get a first down there. Again, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to help our team win a football game,” Allen said. “In my mind, that was at the top of the list.”

Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who is a Pro Bowler, was equally amazed. He said, “It’s ridiculous what he’s doing out there. Even him jumping over a defender, I mean he was just on a whole other level tonight.” High praise from three incredible people would surely have Allen on cloud nine.

The previous two games of Buffalo Bills are an indication that they can go a long way this season. With a quarterback firing on all cylinders, Stefon Diggs playing like a beast and the other members of the team playing well, they can easily win the AFC East division. The Patriots, Dolphins and Jets remain languishing with poor records.

However, one can just as easily write off their two wins as flukes. It would be an insult to their hard work and determination, but Buffalo needs much more than a four win streak to make it to post season. Bill Belichick and the Patriots are knocking on their door, and the Bills surely wouldn’t want to let them pass.

Can this team of supremely talented athletes make it to the playoffs, or has their performance peaked?
