When he’s not getting into online arguments with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor or near-physical ones with professional fighters, and posing in pearl-grabbing photoshoots with girlfriend Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly is apparently being pelted with branches and bottles by festival-goers.
The 31-year-old, real name Colson Baker, was playing at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California, over the weekend when he appeared to be the target of spirited music fans.
In clips posted online this week, the musician was seen singing atop a tent as bottles were thrown in his direction, with a few finding a home on top of the structure, as a massive tree branch was also flung towards the star but narrowly missed landing on his makeshift stage.
According to reports, the rapper-turned-rocker was also met with boos and jeers from the crowd.
Evidently feeling a little hesitant in heading to another festival – after he recently got into a physical altercation with a punter at the Louder Than Life festival – he addressed the crowd: ‘How the f**k you feelin’ Aftershock? Mixed opinions. I love you so much. This morning I was like, “Do we get on the plane and go to this?”‘
MGK revealed it was a young fan who he was thinking of when he got onto the stage.

He went on: ‘I was sitting there thinking about the last festival we did where this 10-year-old got her poster ripped up just for liking me.
‘I’m doing this show for her and everyone who came to see us.’
Last month at the Louder Than Life festival an unidentified fan made his way over the railing and managed to push Machine Gun Kelly, with the Bloody Valentine singer pushing him back.
MGK appeared to throw a punch as security dragged the man away, although it’s unclear if he made contact.
The gig was further plagued by controversy as one viral video showed fans booing MGK and chanting ‘you suck’.

MGK dismissed the booing by sharing a fan’s video where the crowd was cheering and singing along, and tweeting: ‘i don’t know why the media lies in their narrative against me all the time but all i saw was 20,000 amazing fans at the festival singing every word and 20 angry ones.’
