Sharon Osbourne has once again ripped into her former bosses on The Talk as she doubled down on claims that they set her up to fail before her controversial exit.
The 68-year-old quit the US talk show following a heated debate about race with co-star Sheryl Underwood.
Sharon came under fire for saying she ‘stood with’ Piers Morgan, who quit Good Morning Britain after he allegedly refused to apologize for criticizing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In a new interview on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show, claimed her former bosses were ‘weak women’ for not defending her against racism allegations.
Indeed, the former talk show host took the head of CBS Daytime Amy Reisenbach and showrunners Heather Gray and Kristin Matthews to task for the fateful broadcast.
She stated: ‘I think that the showrunners were doing what Amy had told them to do. Weak, weak women, that didn’t have a backbone to turn around and say, “This is suicidal. We can’t do this”.

‘And to let it go after the break, so it was 20 minutes on national TV of bashing me. Twenty minutes … They just — it blindsided me.’
The former reality star continued: ‘They were friends of mine, especially Kristin Matthews. And I told them that they’ve destroyed me. I told them I will never be able to get over this.
‘It’s like, once you have that seed put on you, that you are a racist, it never goes away. I told them they destroyed me.’

Sharon recalled being labeled a ‘racist’ amid the fallout as she added: ‘And at the time, I did have on my socials, people complaining that I shouldn’t have supported Piers and that made me look like a racist, but I don’t think that anybody complained to the FCC.
‘I don’t think that I was out of order by dealing with it the way that I did, because I was talking to a friend of 11 years.’
She added: ‘I was talking to a woman that I’ve traveled with, that I’ve worked with, that I sat beside for 11, well, it’s actually, she was there for 10 seasons. So for 10 seasons, I had sat next to this woman. She was a family friend.

‘And then boom, she puts me on the hot seat talking about racism, and she knows my history. She knows me. She knows I’m not a racist.’
CBS issued a statement about Sharon’s exit in March which read: ‘Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The Talk,’ the statement read. ‘The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home.’

It continued: ‘As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.’
Season 12 of The Talk is airing on CBS in the US.
