Jayson Tatum has been a widely known talent across the NBA. Ever since the Celtics drafted him, they have declared him as the next big star of the NBA. The Celtics’ championship ambitions mainly rely on him, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart’s performance. Several players across the NBA are excited to see Tatum’s growth after training with Kevin Durant.

So after winning the gold medal for Team USA in the Olympics, Jayson’s teammates feel the NBA is about to witness the best of Tatum’s abilities in the coming season. Among them was Jerami Grant, the forward playing for Detroit Pistons in the NBA. He felt that under the guidance of Kevin Durant, Tatum’s game has progressed to an elite level.

Grant said he noticed progress in Tatum on the floor, both emotionally and physically, thanks to Durant‘s mentorship. With Tatum on the rise, the Celtics will be aiming to win the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy, something they haven’t won since 2008.

“Jayson was great. Obviously, we watched him grow into being even a better player while he was there. His confidence was growing while he was there,” Grant said. “Being under KD, he pushed the confidence out of him to be on that stage and do what he was doing. He is one of the best talents in the league.”
