*Warning: spoilers for Drag Race UK series 3 episode 4 ahead.*

The competition in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is really hotting up, and fans were left in shock after an elimination twist in episode 4.

Thursday’s episode saw nobody leave the programme after a series of tense musical challenged.

The latest instalment saw the queens form two supergroups, tasked with creating two potentially chart-topping pop songs.

They had some help along the way, with Steps on hand to give advice and help with the recording and choreography of the two tracks.

After the songs were performanced to Ru, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and special guest judge Emma Bunton, the queens took to the catwalks in outfits inspired by their favourite members of Spice Girls.

Crystal Versace was praised for her energetic performance and ‘gorgeous’ looks, while Charity Kase was also questioned over her decision not to wear an outfit that matched the rest of her group.

Judge Alan praised Kitty Scott-Claus for ‘playing with his mind’ during a strong performance, while Scarlett Harlett was encouraged to smile more and not let the competition get to her after fluffing her lines.

In the end, Charity faced off with Scarlett in the lip sync challenge – but after a fierce performance, both were told they were keeping their place in the competition.

It comes after last week’s episode saw Veronica Green leave the programme after she placed in the bottom two and faced off against Vanity Milan.

Victoria Stone, who made herstory as the programme’s first ever cisgender woman, was also forced to drop out due to a knee injury sustained in episode one.

New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK drop on BBC iPlayer every Thursday at 7pm.
