Michael Phelps is arguably one of the most iconic swimmers of all-time. With a long list of achievements, the American shot to fame with his performances in the Summer Olympics. In fact, with 28 medals in the Games, he’s the most decorated Olympian of all-time.

Although he retired after an extremely successful London Olympics in 2012, he returned to the pool two years later. However, following his Olympic appearance in Rio in 2016, ‘The Baltimore Bullet’ retired from the sport for the final time.

A few weeks before the Rio Olympics, Phelps married Nicole Johnson in a secret ceremony, news of which broke a couple of months after his retirement. Since retiring from professional swimming, the 36-year-old indulged himself in several activities.

He also took to raising three sons with his wife, Nicole, which they do in their home located in the state of Phoenix.

Where does Michael Phelps currently live?

Following his second and final retirement from swimming, Phelps purchased an enormous mansion worth $2.53 million located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Although he bought it in 2016, the ‘Flying Fish’ moved to his new home in 2018, the same year he welcomed his second son Beckett with Nicole.

The 6,010 square-foot mansion has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. While this may make it sound large, the amenities present in it makes it sound even larger. As many would expect, a large pool is a stunning feature of this mansion. Along with it, Phelps’ mansion also houses a barbecue area, a hot tub, a sauna and a wet bar.
