Fans haven’t got long left to wait (Picture: Beth Dubber/Netflix)

The second season of You ended with the biggest cliffhanger ever, with fans desperate to know who Joe Goldberg’s mysterious new neighbour is.

The Netflix psychological thriller, which Metro.co.uk has given four stars, sees Joe Goldberg and wife Love Quinn-Goldberg desperate for a fresh start in the suburbs

Quick overview: Serial killer Joe moved from New York to Los Angeles for a fresh start, however after strategically stalking Love Quinn, an aspiring chef, from the first episode it isn’t long before the pair embark on a whirlwind romance.

During an interview with Access, actor Penn Badgley teased fans on what lies ahead.

He said: ‘I think by the end of the first episode, something quite unexpected happens. It’s not outside of the wheelhouse of what would happen, but you might think that would happen at the very end of the season.’

Here is everything we know so far.

When is You’s season 3 UK release date?

A release date has been confirmed for season three – filming for the third season started in November last year, and was scheduled to end in April this year.

However, production was suspended for two weeks in December 2020 due to a surge in the coronavirus outbreak.

What time will You season 3 be on Netflix?

UK fans of the Netflix hit will have to wait until the usual release time of 8am on Friday, while international fans can start watching from midnight.

The episodes are all up to an hour long, so we suggest the faint hearted don’t try and binge watch everything all at once.

However, eager fans will have the ability to throw themselves a watch party as all 10 episodes will be available to watch.

Is there a trailer for You?

The trailer for the long-awaited series was released in September this year, and fans were not disappointed.

It shows the disturbed duo adjusting to parenting life after Love gives birth to baby boy Henry, however it isn’t long before the pair are seduced by old habits.

Who is in the cast of You season 3?

Viewers should expect to see some new faces this season:

Joe – Penn Badgley

Love – Victoria Pedretti

Dottie – Saffron Burrows

Marianne – Tati Gabrielle

Sherry – Shalita Grant

Theo – Dylan Arnold

Matthew – Scott Speedman

The season has had a number of famous faces throughout, including John Stamos who played Beck and Joe’s therapist, and Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell who played the ruthless Peach Sallinger in season one.

Finally the identity of Joe’s new obsession and the mysterious neighbour has been revealed. Natalie (Michaela McManus) has been revealed as Joe’s mystery neighbour.

Will there be a season four of You?

As a matter of fact there will be. Many fans were delighted and slightly shocked when Netflix confirmed season four two days before season three was even available.

Netflix announced the news on all social media platforms with the caption: ‘You season 4 is in the {body} bag.’

Is the new season of You worth watching?

Many fans were under the impression that the third season wouldn’t match one and two’s energy, but alas it’s been done. The unexpected twists and turns certainly have you hooked from start to finish, and bingeing through the winter nights ahead.

Badgley’s performance is just as captivating and Pedretti also takes it up a gear, you won’t be left disappointed.

Seasons 1 & 2 of You are available to stream on Netflix and season 3 will be available to watch on October 15.
