Aaron Rodgers Reveals He’s A Chicago Bulls Fan But Denies Wanting To Play For Chicago Bears
Aaron Rodgers is the unspoken blood running through the veins of every Green Bay Packers fan. They all sit still and silently hope he delivers a stunning performance, carrying the Packers to a victory. However, the former NFL MVP was a Chicago Bulls fan, which sparked speculation that he might consider a move to Chicago Bears.
Aaron Rodgers refutes Chicago Bears claims
With a squad comprising Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, one finds it hard to support another basketball team other than Chicago Bulls. For Aaron Rodgers, the boy from Chico, California did not support any California based teams. Instead, he supported the dynasty created by some of the best players of all time.
This led to speculation that Rodgers might consider a move to Chicago Bears. However, Rodgers shut down any talks of him joining them. During a conference in the run-up to Sunday Night Football’s Packers vs Bears fixture, Rodgers clarified he has absolutely no interest in joining the Bears.

“I mean, I don’t think they are extremely happy with me that I’ve not been very cordial most of the time. But I respect that. It’s a great sports town. They got two baseball teams, a basketball team that I grew up cheering for. I don’t know how it was for you guys, but when I was growing up, one of the few channels we had on TV was WGN. So you got to watch some Cubs’ and Bulls’ basketball games.”
A reporter asked Rodgers if he saw himself playing there anytime in his career. He replied, “No. No. It’s just not going to happen, man.” This means Rodgers still doesn’t know where he will head after his tenure with the Packers ends. Safe to say this will be a running mystery throughout the season.

Aaron Rodgers has made it infinitely clear that he does not want to stay at Green Bay Packers after the 2021 season. The quarterback has been pushing for a move, but the Packers have tried their hardest to keep their star man in Wisconsin. However, the 2022 season will feature Rodgers in a different franchise.
Aaron’s contract is shaped in a way that jams the Packers from retaining him for another year. He displayed some stubborn behavior during the preseason, riling up fans, critics and analysts. However, he is still producing results for the Packers this season.
While the Bears are out of the conversation, other teams will circle Rodgers like sharks circling a boat. Pittsburgh Steelers is a possible destination, but Rodgers has put that to bed as well. Where do you think the star quarterback will end up next season?
