This massive earning means that LeBron is undoubtedly the highest paid player in the league for the 2021-22 season. His cumulative earning on and off the court easily trump the league’s earning record in a single year, which LBJ set back in the 2020-21 season, which was a staggering $96.5 million.

Not only that, LeBron is now the best paid player in the NBA for the eighth straight year. Stephen Curry comes a close second as he is set to earn $92.8 million. The major difference between Bron and the other superstars is their off the court earnings. While James will earn an estimated $70 million, the likes of Curry and Kevin Durant make $47 million on average off the court.
