Lizzo has hit back at critics of the see-through mesh dress she wore to Cardi B’s birthday party, telling the haters to ‘kiss my a**’.

The singer, 33, had worn a floor-length purple dress covered in diamantes which was entirely sheer as she celebrated Cardi B’s 29th birthday on Monday night.

While the Juice star absolutely rocked the look, some haters crawled out of the woodwork to complain about her outfit.

Lizzo took to Instagram Live to tell them exactly where they could go, saying: ‘It’s very funny to me that people are upset that I’m wearing a see-through outfit or that I’m twerking in a see-through outfit.

‘[They’re saying], “This is disgusting…” Don’t you have bills to pay? Don’t you got mouths to feed, including your own? Don’t you have a life to live? Don’t you want to fall in love and make friends? Don’t you got s**t to do?

‘Go read the news, b***h, before I read you, h**. The f**k! Why are you worried about me?’

Lizzo then pulled her trousers down and slapped her butt, telling them: ‘Kiss my a**. Kiss my fat Black a**, b**h.’

The singer has always been outspoken about embracing body confidence and refusing to let the haters stop her from wearing, and doing, what she wants.

She explained: ‘I have nothing to hide. There’s no shame anymore. I just post myself. It’s like, you take me as I am. You don’t have to love me.

‘I’m going to continue to live in this body and survive in this body and be happy and actually enjoy life, I need to find a way to like myself. I was body negative for a long time.’

Lizzo added that her body positive statements are not to make a point but just to represent her living her life, explaining: ‘It’s not a political statement. It’s just my body.

‘When you see it, keep it pushing. Keep that same energy that you keep with all the other bodies you see. That’s what body normative really means to me. I’m here, don’t say anything. It’s not a statement. It’s my body.’
