RARE: Vince McMahon Congratulates William Shatner for a Unique Achievement

William Shatner became the oldest person to take a trip to Space at the age of 90. The WWE Hall of Famer spoke about his experience, and Vince McMahon reacted to the same.

He expressed how proud he was of the WWE Hall of Famer for this grand achievement.

Shatner first appeared on WWE in 1995 as a part of Jerry Lawler’s King’s Court. The following week, he sided with Bret Hart to take down Jeff Jarrett. After Hart took down Jarrett, Road Dogg entered the ring, but William Shatner delivered his forearm to the temple and took down Road Dogg.

William Shatner came back to WWE in 2007 to induct Lawler in WWE Hall of Fame and again in 2010 as a special guest. Finally, WWE inducted Shatner in the WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the class of 2020.

Vince McMahon is bringing back WWE’s most successful era

While The Big Man is congratulating others, he is making moves which will soon bring many others as special guests to WWE.

As per reports, the company is trying to revive the glory of The Attitude Era via WWE NXT 2.0. While it may not be able to bring back the era completely, undoubtedly, several elements which were highly successful among the fans at that point will definitely return.

The Big Man is aware that several Superstars on the main roster are forty years or above. While the veterans are performing stunningly, the company needs to appeal to the younger demographic as well.

As a result, WWE NXT went through massive changes to become a platform where WWE can bring in younger talent to appeal to the younger demographic.

The idea is to use WWE NXT 2.0 to bring in pro-wrestlers in their 20s, and prepare them for the main roster. This would allow the company to create Superstars who move to the main roster with a proper fan following.

As of now, it’s unknown exactly to what extent WWE is planning to make NXT 2.0 similar to The Attitude Era, but there will be similarities.
