Sharon Stone is in hot water after seemingly ignoring actor Jonah Hill’s public plea for all commentary on his body – ‘good or bad’ – to stop and posting a compliment on his appearance directly below.
The 21 Jump Street actor, 37, was praised by many as he uploaded a post on Instagram on Wednesday, explaining that the comments don’t ‘feel good’.
‘I know you mean well but I kindly ask that you not comment on my body,’ he penned to his 3.1million followers.
‘Good or bad I want to politely let you know it’s not helpful and doesn’t feel good. Much respect.’
However, Basic Instinct star Sharon wrote directly underneath Jonah’s request: ‘Can i say u look good cuz u do’, with an accompanying fire emoji.
Fans of Jonah then leapt to point out the issue with her comment, even though it was meant with the best of intentions.

‘You missed the ENTIRE point,’ posted one social media user.
Many of Jonah’s fans also praised his post, with sister Beanie Feldstein leading support for the Oscar nominee below the post, proudly yelling: ‘THATS 👏 MY 👏 BROTHER 👏.’
SNL star Aidy Bryant posted a tick as SZA replied: ‘Absolutely love you. Thank you!!’
Jonah has now turned off comments on the post, after it accruded over 17,000.

The star made headlines when he opened up about the struggles he has faced with his body image since stepping foot in the spotlight.
Pictures recently surfaced of the Superbad actor enjoying a day out at the beach, and surfing shirtless in the sunshine.
Speaking about the photos, he later shared: ‘I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends.’
He said that he has been mocked over his body for years, and is no longer fazed by the printing of those pictures.
‘I’m 37 and finally love and accept myself,’ Jonah added.

To fit in with that message, the star also showed off a new tattoo in August.
The yellow circle on his shoulder showed a hand making the rock ‘n’ roll sign and read ‘body love’.
