“Uplifting, Emotional”: Fan Gives an Interesting Early Review of Serena Williams Father’s Biopic ‘King Richard’
23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams and her sister, Venus Williams, have become global icons in the world today. They are just not a source of inspiration to millions of youngsters but have also been the face of many big brands. However, they would not have reached anywhere if their father, Richard Williams, hadn’t supported them.
To recognize the efforts of Richard Williams, HBO came up with a new film, King Richard. Interestingly, popular actor, Will Smith is playing the role of Richard in the movie and it will hit the theatres on November 19, 2021.
A fan gives one of the first reviews of ‘King Richard’
Even though the film will get released on November 19, 2021, its premier got featured a month ago. Thus, some of the fans have already watched the film and are now giving reviews.
“Absolutely sings. One of the best of the year for me, and The best Tennis film period. Uplifting, emotional, and with Will Smith shooting for the moon. Saniyya Sidney as Venus is phenomenal! A powerful sporting triumph to be enjoyed over and over,” wrote a fan on Twitter.

Serena Williams in the 2021 tennis season
It hasn’t been a great season for Serena. She failed to win any title so far and hasn’t performed well even at the Grand Slams. The tennis queen began her season on a great note as she managed to reach the semis of the Australian Open 2021. However, Naomi Osaka defeated her in straight sets there and ended her campaign in Melbourne.

The clay court season proved to be a nightmare for her. She failed to win any match at the Italian Open 2021 and won just one match at the WTA Parma 2021. Even though she reached the pre-quarters of the French Open 2021, Elena Rybakina beat her down in straight sets there.
After this, Williams arrived in London but injured herself at the Wimbledon Championships 2021. Unfortunately, she couldn’t even complete a single set there and hasn’t returned to the court ever since then.
Although Serena Williams is 40 now, fans still have huge expectations from her. Will she be able to make an incredible comeback next year?
