Gordon Ramsay is the proudest dad ever as Strictly Come Dancing’s Tilly takes on Paso Doble with Nikita Kuzmin: ‘Hard work pays off!’

Gordon Ramsay has shown himself to be just about the proudest dad out there during this series of Strictly Come Dancing, and he excelled himself once again as daughter Tilly prepared herself for Saturday’s show. 

We’ve already had tears from the celeb chef, and now Gordon has been posting throwback snaps and saying he was ‘so proud’ as Tilly prepared to dance the Paso Doble with Nikita Kuzmin.

Gordon posted an old picture of himself with daughter Tilly and wife Tana Ramsay.

He said he was ‘so proud’ of Tilly and said she had been enjoying an ‘incredible week of training’ ahead of tonight’s show, adding: ‘Hard work pays off!’

‘Wishing these two all the very best for tonight’s Paso Doble @tillyramsay @nikita__kuzmin @bbcstrictly what an incredible week of training it’s been, hard work pays off, so proud of you love you Dad xxx,’ he wrote.

Tilly will be hoping she can do Gordon proud and deliver a strong performance tonight. 

The 19-year-old made her debut on the BBC One series earlier this month by performing the perfect Charleston which landed her a spot at the top of the leaderboard – and left her TV chef father Gordon sobbing in the audience. 

She’s won over viewers since then, with HRVY throwing his support behind the Strictly star, joking that he doesn’t want to cross her dad Gordon.

Gordon is hopefully a bit more on board with Nikita now, after he took no time in scolding Tilly’s partner when they were paired up on the show, quickly noticing his unbuttoned shirt.

Meanwhile, Strictly viewers were saddened recently to hear that Robert Webb has been forced to pull out of the competition. 

The comedian and actor, 49, revealed that he will no longer be taking part in the show after receiving medical advice. 

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7.10pm on BBC One.
