The NBA has never been short of exceptional talent. Some players showcased spark right away while others took time to blossom. For Kobe Bryant, it took him a few years to really show everyone what he was made of. At the end of his career, he stands as one of the most skillful players in the history of the league. Now, a former rival spoke about the ‘Mamba’ with respect to his talent.
Kobe was the epitome of hard work. Likewise, he made a severe mark in the NBA through his mentality. It was due to his hard work and passion that he could dominate the game for so many years. However, another important factor was the hunger to prove himself.

Bryant was a master at mental warfare. He could break down any player within the game and alter his game accordingly. Moreover, even during the game, he would do anything to score on a player. Now, former Nets stars reveals his story of Kobe.
Kobe Bryant had no weaknesses
Former Net, Kerry Kittles spoke about NBA greats. A player he spoke about in detail was Kobe Bryant. When questioned about the most talented shooting guards, he chose Bryant as the most exceptional talent. He did give respect to other NBA players, but his opinion on the ‘Mamba’ stood high.
Kittles spoke about Bryant had no weaknesses in his game. Moreover, he always had the mentality of wanting to score on anyone and everyone. Kittles even shared his story of guarding Kobe, and how missing a shot won’t bother him in anyway.

He said: “I would say, yeah I just want to go Kobe Bryant in my opinion, in my humble opinion. Of all those great players, the Paul Pierce and all those guys were great players, he was just that much more exceptional of a talent. I think he had no weaknesses. And he was tenacious, he wanted to score on you every possession. I tell the story guarding Kobe. I was guarding him one time, and he took a shot and he missed the shot. And he is calling for the ball. They get the offensive rebound and then he is calling for the ball as if he just never took the previous shot.”
Kittles went on to mention of Bryant just wanted to score on anyone. It is surprising to see that Bryant won the scoring title just twice in his career. However, a missed shot was the least of the things that would worry the ‘Mamba’. This mentality helped him achieve greatness and his legacy lives on to this day. Do you think we will see a more hardworking player than Kobe?
