“OMG”: Eugenie Bouchard Reacts as a Gutted Fan Laments Her Prolonged Absence From Professional Tennis

Former World No.5 Eugenie Bouchard is currently working as a tennis expert at the Tennis Channel. She injured her shoulder about four months ago and hasn’t returned to the court since then. As a result, fans miss her and her exceptional gameplay on the court.

It seems as if Eugenie Bouchard is fit and fine now and can return to the court really soon. It will be intriguing to see if she manages to make a comeback this year or not.

Eugenie Bouchard shares a funny meme on her Instagram story

In her recent Instagram story, Bouchard shared a tennis meme. In it, one can see a figure in a really sad state, who is crying because he has not seen the Canadian star in action for the last 212 days.

“OMG. Soon!” wrote Bouchard in the caption of her Instagram story.

It appears that Bouchard is really shocked that fans are missing her that much. Even though it was a really funny meme and she laughed over it, she also made sure that she doesn’t disappoint her fans any further and mentioned that she will be back really soon.

Bouchard in the 2021 season

World No.173 Bouchard has played just four tournaments in the 2021 season. She didn’t enjoy a great start as she couldn’t qualify for the main draw of the Australian Open 2021.

However, the Canadian player bounced back and reached the finals of the Lyon Open 2021 in the doubles category. She ended as the runner-up of the tournament along with her partner, Olga Danilovic.

Following this, she played really well at the Guadalajara Open 2021 and once again reached the finals of the tournament. However, she was unlucky this time as well as she failed to battle past Sara Sorribes Tormo in the finals. Then, she featured at the Monterrey Open 2021, but unfortunately, couldn’t leave a mark there.

Fans really hope that Eugenie Bouchard recovers soon and returns to the court quickly. Will she be able to finish the year among the top-150 WTA players?
