John Whaite and Johannes Radebe left viewers emotional with a sweet intro and amazing dance on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The first all-male couple in Strictly’s history have fast become fan-favourites and their American Smooth had fans obsessed.
John and Johannes had danced to I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me) by Aretha Franklin and George Michael and even incorporated an impressive lift into the routine, with John lifting Johannes into the air.
Viewers were calling for them to be given the Glitterball trophy already, commenting: ‘Another stunning performance from John. Its hard to tell who the Pro is. Johannes was amazing during the lift. It looked effortless.’
Others added: ‘John and Johannes’ dances are always joyful to watch. Their chemistry is so natural and lovely and it makes me happy sob every week’ and ‘Hard to tell who the Celeb is vs pro. Loving loving LOVING John & Johannes.’
John and Johannes are the first all-male pairing to take part in Strictly, but the first same-sex coupling was seen in last year’s show when boxer Nicola Adams was paired with pro Katya Jones.
Despite impressing the judges the all-female couple sadly had to pull out of the show mid-way through the competition after contracting coronavirus.
Viewers have been rooting for John and Johannes to get to the final and win, with the pair getting a standing ovation on their first appearance on the show.

While their marks were not as high this week as for their Pirates Of The Caribbean-inspired dance for movie week, Johannes revealed that John had helped him get his first 10 on the show – and not just one but three in one go.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Sunday from 7.10pm on BBC One.
