Daniel Craig hilariously crashes James Bond co-star Rami Malek’s Saturday Night Live skit
Daniel Craig made a surprise appearance alongside his No Time To Die co-star Rami Malek on Saturday Night Live.
The Oscar winner, 40, made his SNL debut on Saturday and had a little help from the 53-year old actor.
Daniel appeared in a sketch where Rami and comedian Kenan Thompson attempted to audition for the role of late singer Prince in a new biopic film directed by Jordan Peele.
After several rounds of auditions, Rami and Kenan were the only two left and took part in a decider which involved performing the famous guitar line from Prince’s hit song, Kiss.
The Skyfall star later crashed the scene and clearly missed the fashion memo as he turned up as a medieval prince instead of paying homage to the late fashion icon.
Speaking to the panel, Daniel said: ‘Is it too late to audition for the prince? It’s a horror movie. It’s about racism right? I’m here, I’m ready. Can I at least have a try?’

Daniel hosted the last pre-pandemic SNL in March last year, promoting his final James Bond film No Time To Die. The film’s release had been postponed just a few days earlier in the face of the growing health crisis.
Rami recently revealed he would be ‘very surprised’ if Daniel did not get an Oscar nomination for his final turn as 007.
During Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, Rami said: ‘I would be a fool if I didn’t consider, if everyone didn’t consider this incredible actor to be in that position, the amount of stress, the work ethic, Daniel’s discipline on set that’s one thing.

‘And then to add on his ability as an actor, it’s second to none.
‘There’s sophistication, elegance, nuance, humour that I think should be rewarded and regarded in his performance and I would be very surprised if it wasn’t this year.’
No Time To Die is in cinemas now and Saturday Night Live returns next weekend.
