Pete Davidson and first time Saturday Night Live host Rami Malek took on Netflix’s global phenomenon Squid Game during a musical skit.
The 27-year-old SNL regular joined forces with the actor, 40, and delivered a spoof country number which included a cover of Branchez & Big Wet’s Turn Up On the Weekend.
The sketch began with the pair, dressed in country western attire, becoming financially ruined – just like the contestants on Squid Game.
The duo then sign up to take part in the deadly games to help pay off their debts. Pete and Rami wore the famous green tracksuits before taking part in the fatal games, including Red Light Green Light, which was the first game played in episode one of the hit show.
‘I just won the Squid Game, killed all of my friends to win the Squid Game,’ Pete sings after pushing Rami off the glass steps.
Like the main character Gi-hun, Pete also dyes his hair red, but returns to his bad habits and places a risky bet that lands him back in debt.

‘Then one day I got bored, and I took all my money, and I bet it on the Jets. Going back to the Squid Game, I’m terrible with money,’ he sang as the comedy skit concluded.
Squid Game has smashed records to become Netflix’s biggest ever series launch – and we’re absolutely not surprised.
The nine-part Korean drama, written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, has had everyone talking over the last few weeks.
Lee Jung-jae leads an all-star cast in the series, playing Seong Gi-hun, alongside Park Hae-soo, HoYeon Jung, Anupam Tripathi and Oh Young-soo.
The fictional series follows 456 players who take part in mystery games for a huge sum of money.

However, things quickly take a sinister turn as participants battle for their lives as well as the jackpot.
Squid Game is available to stream on Netflix and Saturday Night Live returns next week.
