From Kris planning a goth wedding to Scott Disick’s inevitable reaction, fans are in their feelings about Kourtney and Travis’s engagement

We’re getting a Kravis wedding, and we’re all excited, whether we know the couple or not.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are getting married after less than a year of dating, aka making out in Disneyland and straddling each other on boats, after the Blink-182 drummer popped the question.
Travis, 45, pulled out all the stops, building a heart made of roses on a beach in Montecito, where a private photographer captured the romantic proposal.
After Kourtney, 42, said yes, the couple celebrated with a dinner with friends and family, including sisters Kim, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall, who posted pictures of the insane diamond ring Kourt now proudly wears on her left hand.
Travis’s children with ex Shanna Moakler, Landon, 18, and Alabama, 15, were also there to celebrate, and congratulated their dad and new stepmother on Instagram.
And fans were just as excited for the couple, as they anticipated the goth wedding we’re about to be blessed with.
Others saw Kourtney as a role model, as this is the first time she is set to get married, despite having three children with ex Scott Disick.
The reality star had previously turned down suggestions of marriage from Scott, and fans believe she was waiting on true love.
One person tweeted: ‘I respect Kourtney Kardashian so much. She actually waited to be with someone she loves. She was with Scott for 9 years and had 3 kids with him but didn’t settle. She’s 42 now & is engaged to the person she loves. Marry when you’re ready not because you’re “getting old”.’
Speaking of Scott, others were awaiting the 38-year-old’s reaction to his ex’s engagement, as he hasn’t been so kind in the past about the thought of Kourtney moving on.
Elsewhere, Kourtney’s famous friends reacted to the news on her Instagram, after she posted pictures from the proposal.
Winnie Harlow wrote: ‘Ahhhhh 😍congratulations’, while TikTok star Addison Rae added: ‘IM SCREAMING.’
Kourtney and Travis had been friends for years, as they both live in Calabasas, California, but rumours only began circling at the beginning of 2021 that they were more than that.
In February, they went public with their romance, and when we say public, we mean nobody could escape the PDA machine that is Kravis.

In between Travis getting Kourtney’s name tattooed on his chest weeks into their relationship and their many extra double dates with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, Kourtney began morphing into a goth girl, even wearing a Cannibal Corpse t-shirt at one point.
But hey, the heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes that’s a death metal t-shirt.
This will be Travis’s third marriage; the rocker was married to Melissa Kennedy for nine months until their divorce in August 2002.
Two years later, he married former Miss USA Shanna Moakler in a Nightmare Before Christmas themed wedding the night before Halloween, but they finalised their divorce in February 2008.
