Social Media Lauds Matthew Stafford After Rams Defeat the Giants on Sunday
Los Angeles Rams were always firm favourites in Sunday’s Week 6 clash against the New York Giants. Sean McVay’s boys lived up to the hype and came from behind to hand Joe Judge his fifth loss of the season. Veteran NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford was the standout performer today as the Rams put up an offensive and defensive masterpiece to shut out the struggling Giants at the MetLife Stadium.

Here’s what we realized after watching the Rams make a strong case as outside contenders for this year’s Super Bowl trophy.

Sean McVay-led Los Angeles Rams registered a comfortable 38-11 win over the struggling New York Giants earlier today. The NFC West franchise fell behind in the opening quarter. However, a Matthew Stafford-inspired push helped them score 28 points on the trot.
Ultimately, the visitors won by a 27-point margin at the MetLife Stadium in New York. They are now second in their division behind the unbeaten Arizona Cardinals.
But special mention goes out to QB1 in LA, Matthew Staford, who finished the game with 251 passing yards with 4 passing touchdowns against 1 interception. He is definitely in contention for this year’s MVP award alongside Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert and Kyler Murray.

The #Giants are absolutely pathetic

Brutal stat just given by @BobPapa_NFL. The #Giants have now lost 26 times at home since the start of the 2017 season. That’s not even 4 1/2 years.

The #Giants stink. There is no hope. There is no joy. So it’s time to fire Dave Gettleman and plan for 2022.

The New York Giants are definitely in a bad spot right now. They sit at the bottom of the NFC East with a 1-5 record at the midway stage of the ongoing 2021 NFL season. Coach Judge and OC Jason Garrett are hanging to their jobs by a thread, as is QB Daniel Jones.
The New York-based team are missing star running back, Saquon Barkley. But they’ll need to step up their displays, sooner rather than later if they still want to make the playoffs. But that seems like mission impossible right now.
