With the American Grand Prix coming up in the next week, the F1 family has shifted to Texas. While rigorous practice is going on so that the teams can make one last-ditch effort at scoring some points in the remaining few races of this season, they have not shied away from putting on a spectacle for their US fans. The 2021 US Grand Prix is going to be held at the Circuit of the Americas and a week before the race, fans captured Red Bull driver Sergio Perez doing donuts on the streets of Texas.

Fans looked in awe as Sergio Perez did donuts with his RB7

After a fantastic race in 2019, the US GP did not appear in the Formula 1 calendar in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the F1 people have traveled across the pond to Texas for this year’s race, they have kept it in mind that the fans are eager for some F1 spectacle.

Thus, the Red Bull F1 Team put on a show in Dallas where their newest recruit Perez showed off his skills behind the wheels. Red Bull’s Twitter team swiftly sent out the video for fans across the world to see, and Checo posted it as well, thanking his fans for their support.

He wrote, “Thanks to the entire Mexican and Latino community, they made me feel at home! (American flag emoji) (Mexican flag emoji) See you next week! #redbullshowrun#Dallas“

Things are looking good for Red Bull going into the US Grand Prix

While Red Bull might be putting on a show on the streets for their fans, tension is at its peak in the RB garage because of their title fight with Mercedes.

Red Bull prodigy Max Verstappen is leading the Drivers’ Championship standings with seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton only 6 points behind him. Also, Red Bull themselves are breathing down on Mercedes’ neck as the two are battling for the Constructors’ Championship title.
