WWE star Rhea Ripley wrestles in Damian Priest’s gear after her own outfit and title belt goes missing

WWE superstar Rhea Ripley has thanked Damian Priest after she had to wear his wrestling gear to the ring after her own went missing.

The Nightmare, who is one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions with Nikki A.S.H., had to improvise at last night’s live event in El Paso on Sunday night after her ring gear and title belt went missing earlier that day.

Rhea thankfully saw the funny side as she laughed her way to the squared circle in a video shared on Twitter showing her making a unique entrance wearing the Archer of Infamy’s own signature outfit.

She captioned the post: ‘No gear, no problem. Thanks for the pants @ArcherOfInfamy #WWEElPaso’

Priest seemed happy to help, as he shared the video with his own followers and added a gif from The US Office of Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) raising a glass, pointing and winking.

It comes after Ripley admitted she was going to ‘miss’ the gear she’s now lost, along with her championship belt.

On Sunday, she tweeted: ‘*LOST GEAR BAG* My MosherZ of Albuquerque I know this is a stretch but, if any of you have seen a black travel suitcase around Office Boulevard & Montaño rd please hold onto it and let me know.

‘It has all my gear in it, including my title. Cheers! (sic)’

It’s not clear what exactly happened, including whether or not Rhea misplaced the case in the first place, but the so-called Nightmare wants people to be on the lookout in case someone is now trying to sell her belongings online.

Twenty minutes after her initial post, she added: ‘If you see any of my gear being sold online, please send the link my way.’

This is rare but not sadly unheard of for wrestlers, as Rhea’s fellow star Sheamus had his own incident with someone taking one of his on-screen props.

Tweeting a photo of his custom Celtic Cross – which is a big part of his attire and presentation – he wrote back in June: ‘..a lovely fella stole my cross (on camera below).

‘I’d appreciate it if you internet sleuths could track it down & return it via details below.. ringside seats reward when we return to your town & many beers.’

The prop necklace – as well as title belts signed by various stars – were allegedly taken from the Yuengling Center, which was the home of WWE’s ThunderDome at the time.

And former NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER had his championship stolen in December 2019, but he was reunited with the gold after a fan and belt collector bought the title online and returned it.

As a gesture of goodwill, the man was given a replica which was signed by WALTER, Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
