“50-50”: Usain Bolt Updates Fans On His Participation in ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The 35-year-old track and field legend, Usain Bolt, is regarded as the fastest man on earth, rightly so. He is the only athlete to win gold in the 100m and 200m races at three consecutive Olympics.

Moreover, he is the first athlete who won four World Championship titles in the 200m. With three titles, Bolt is also one of the most successful athletes in the 100 m. Hence, Bolt is by far the most successful male sprinter in the history of the sport.

The retired Jamaican athlete has previously out shown himself in the world of music by releasing his own album ‘Country Yutes’. Now, the athlete also talks about taking part in the famous reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

Bolt has ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on his plate

Recently, in an interview with Men’s Journal, Bolt was asked about his interest in the popular show ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Bolt revealed that it was definitely something he had given a thought to.

That’s something that I’ve thought about. I’m not fully sure. That’s something that we have sat down, I’ve thought about. People have asked but to be um, I’m so busy right now doing a lot of stuff so for me yeah I’m not sure but it’s on the plate. It’s not that ‘no’ you know, it’s not a ‘yes’. So, it’s 50 50 right now,” said Bolt.

Bolt also revealed that he was approached for the show, but due to his severe workload, he had to turn down the opportunity.

That’s something that, I’ve met people that have asked me if I want to do it but sometimes, I said I’ve been so busy moving around and they say it takes a lot of time to shoot and to work so I have to make sure every time,” he said.

All in all, it will be interesting to see if the track and field star will shine out as a dancing star as well.

Usain Bolt shares his current training strategy

The retired Jamaican athlete has always been regular with his training. In fact, he once also went to a friendly race with his fans, helping them with some tips and tricks of his own.

Notably, he also revealed his current training strategy in the interview.

“It’s on and off, depends on if I’m traveling a lot but uh when I’m home for like long periods uh I tend to train every day um I work on my personal bike most of the time right now,” said Bolt.

Away from the track and field now, Bolt continues to make headlines. However, do you think he will appear in the famous reality show?
