George Kambosos Jr. Denies Asking for $300k Extra for the Teofimo Lopez Fight
The Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Jr. fight is on again. After months of postponements and two different promotions taking charge of it, they are looking to finalize the date and the venue. Matchroom Boxing took over after Triller washed their hands of the lightweight fight.
Under Triller, they postponed the fight around five times. Back in February, Triller won the purse bid for the fight, and Matchroom came second.
Now that the fight is on, both fighters are back under the watchful eyes of the media. In an interview with Behind the Gloves, Kambosos cleared up the rumors of him asking for $3ook extra for the fight.

“No, that’s not true because I had prior contracts away from my purse that were signed from my side but not honored. They were never honored, they were never counter sold on their behalf. So, you know that was part of that whole saga. These are things that need to be sorted out as well.”
Both the fighters have had months of preparation going into the fight. Hence, fans will expect a delight when Teofimo ‘The Takeover’ Lopez steps into the ring to defend his IBF/WBA/WBC Franchise/WBO lightweight titles against his Australian opponent.
