Jordan Spieth PGA Tour Schedule: When Will He Play His Next Tournament?

Jordan Spieth once again returned to the winner’s circle on the PGA Tour after a long drought. Spieth won the 2021 Valero Texas Open and opened his account for the year. The spotlight is shining bright on the 28-year-old as a new season has begun. But there’s a lot of confusion as to where Spieth will play next.

Jordan Spieth was fantastic at the Ryder Cup 2020 and contributed towards Team USA’s victory. He enjoyed the team format and then made his 2021-22 PGA Tour season debut at the CJ Cup at Summit.

Spieth dazzled the tournament with his style and was impeccable with his short game. However, he was unable to maintain consistency and dropped down the leaderboard owing to a sub-par third round. Spieth finished T18 after 72-holes at the CJ Cup.

Where is Jordan Spieth playing next?

Jordan Spieth made his season debut at the CJ Cup 2021. Furthermore, as per reports, he is scheduled to play the 2021 Hero World Challenge, an event hosted by Tiger Woods. As per the official release, Jordan Spieth is a part of the 20-man field, but it seems unlikely that he’ll play.

But why did Spieth commit to it if he’s not playing? Right now there are no guarantees. The Tiger Woods tournament begins December 2 at Albany in the Bahamas. However, Spieth and his wife Annie are expecting their first child this fall – the due date is November 21

If things go as planned, Jordan Spieth and his wife will welcome their first child by the end of November, and if they do, the golfer will not compete in the Hero World Challenge. Fatherhood will take priority over the PGA Tour.

If Spieth doesn’t play the Hero World Challenge, where will he play next?

In that case, Spieth’s 2021 campaign will effectively be over. The three-time major champion will play his next PGA Tour event in 2022 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions at the Plantation Course at Kapalua.

As per reports, this is the next tournanemt Jordan Spieth will play on the PGA Tour. While it does seem like a long break, the golfer deserves to take it owing to the rollercoaster of the year it’s been for everyone.
