Dannii Minogue has set out to reassure UK fans that sister Kylie Minogue will be back even after she moves back to her native Australia.
The I Should Be So Lucky singer recently broke hearts across the UK as she revealed that she was moving back to Oz after 30 years in her adopted home.
Her sister Dannii, who has carved out an equally impressive career in the music and television industry, has promised fans that despite moving to the other side of the world, Kylie ‘will be back’.
She told ITV’s This Morning that their hometown of Melbourne has been experiencing ‘quite a bit of excitement’ as Kylie prepares to return.
But the chart topper may not be around as much as Melburnians hope, as Dannii revealed Kylie will actually split her time between London and Australia, and won’t be leaving the UK forever.
Kylie told her sister she intended to keep travelling and working, ‘and she will for sure be back in London’.

But, as it did for many people, the pandemic forced Kylie to reflect on being so far away from family.
Dannii explained the sisters were ‘so fortunate to have such a great time in London and to be embraced by everybody there, but something kind of special happened this year with Covid and family being back together’.
‘My dad just had his 80th birthday,’ she said, ‘my brother’s 50th was in lockdown, now my 50th.
‘It’s a lot swirling around our heads and you don’t want to miss all those big moments.’

Kylie herself confirmed the news earlier this month, in a fairly emotional interview with BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball where she said friends in Britain were calling her and exclaiming ‘What do you mean? You can’t go!’
‘I’m not really going,’ Kylie explained. ‘I’ve lived here for 30 years, I’m always going to be back. So of course I am [leaving] but I don’t think too much will change.
‘I can’t not be here, are you kidding!?’
