Louise Redknapp fans all have the same two questions after her ex Jamie marries girlfriend Frida

LOUISE Redknapp’s fans asked if she plans to change her surname after ex Jamie’s marriage to Frida Andersson.

The 48-year-old footie pundit tied the knot with pregnant Frida, 37, leaving Louise’s fans wondering what would happen to her famous last name.

Professionally Louise went back to her single moniker for her 2019 comeback track Stretch and West End performances in productions such as 9 to 5.

But on social media and in other areas of her life, the singer has held on to her married name despite splitting from Jamie in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.

Many fans could not understand why she kept Jamie’s last name and wondered if she would change it back to her maiden name after his wedding to Frida.

“Maybe @LouiseRedknapp will stop using her husbands name now. Never understand why you would want to do that,” wrote one disgruntled fan on Twitter.

But Louise explained her kids had a lot to do with the reason why keeps her ex’s surname.

“People ask me about that a lot. First and foremost, my kids are Redknapps,” she told You earlier this year.

“I don’t want to turn up at a school function and have a different second name to my children. I’m proud. Those little things mean a lot to me.”

Louise also poignantly added: “Also, I’ve been a Redknapp longer than I’ve been anything else in my life.

“I was married to Jamie for longer than my time without him. So it’s really hard to… It’s like my last bit to cling on to.

“I feel like a Redknapp.”

Jamie’s surprise wedding to his eight-month pregnant girlfriend had many fans wondering if Louise was seeing someone.

Many also acknowledged it would be a tough day for Louise, seeing her ex-husband marrying a new woman.

“ope ur ok today, ur happy ending is on its way x,” wrote one fan on Twitter.

Another added: “Feel sorry for @LouiseRedknapp in a way must be hard for her.”

And a third wrote ahead of her 9 to 5 performance in south-west London tonight: “Make sure you have the most amazing night.”

Louise is not the only woman who adopted the Redknapp last name after Frida updated her Instagram handle to her new husband’s name.

The Swedish beauty couldn’t wait to become Mrs Redknapp as she changed her Instagram username from @FridaAndersson to @Frida_Redknapp mere hours following their ceremony.

Yesterday model Frida and Jamie wed, with the bride looking elegant in an off-the-shoulder cream dress, which showed off her growing baby bump.

The happy couple were joined by 30 close family and friends for the discreet ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall, West London.

Earlier this year The Sun revealed that the pair were expecting their first child together.

Former England and Liverpool footballer Jamie is already dad to Charley, 17, and Beau, 12, from his marriage to singer Louise Redknapp, 46.

Frida has four children from her marriage to US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.

Jamie and Frida, whose first child together is due next month, have been dating since August last year after being introduced by mutual pals.
