Evander ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield earned upwards of $200 million during his prolific boxing career. However, a string of bad investments led to him falling on hard times. It all started with the fall of his very own record label, Real Deal Records. The demise of Real Deal Records cost him upwards of $3 million dollars.
A botched restaurant business cost Holyfield in the region of $10 million. In 2008, he owed more than $13 million in mortgage payments and was evicted from his 109-room Atlanta mansion. Rick Ross then bought the mansion for a little over $5 million from the four-time world champion.
