‘No Class in Win or Defeat’- Jan Blachowicz Claps Back at Corey Anderson for Calling Himself the Best
Corey Anderson secured a knockout win against Ryan Bader at Bellator 268 and earned a light heavyweight title shot in his next fight. Following this win, the 32-year-old claimed himself as the best light heavyweight fighter in the world at the post-fight press conference. However, this claim didn’t sit well with Jan Blachowicz.
‘The Polish Power’ took a nasty dig at the former UFC fighter Corey Anderson for calling himself the best. He reminded Anderson about his last UFC defeat.
Hold up… So a guy who bolted from the UFC after I’ve slept him and almost made him retire, got a couple of wins in the 2nd league and claims he is the best?
Maybe I’ve punched him to hard… No class in win or defeat Corey. There’s levels to this.

Following this tweet, the former UFC fighter was quick to respond. He talked about the outcome of their first fight and also called Blachowicz’s knockout punch in their rematch a ‘lucky shot’.
Let’s not forget. What happened to you the 1st time I left you looking like elephant man. And you posted “I need to go home and rethink my career”.
Yea I got knocked out in our 2nd fight (lucky punch?) but I made you my broad for 15 min straight nothing lucky about that. https://t.co/q5kSRUVt48

Anderson defeated Blachowicz via decision in their first scuffle inside the cage at UFC 191. However, the Polish fighter knocked out Anderson in the rematch and handed him a loss in his last UFC fight.
What’s next for Jan Blachowicz?
With a record of 28-8, Jan Blachowicz is one of the most prominent names in the promotion. He was on a three-fight undefeated streak when he fought and beat Dominick Reyes at UFC 253 to become the UFC light heavyweight champion.
The Polish fighter is currently on an amazing five-fight undefeated streak and has one successful title defense under his name. He will soon return to defend his gold strap against the #1 contender Glover Teixeira at UFC 267.
This light heavyweight title bout will headline the pay-per-view inside the Etihad Arena in the United Arab Emirates. It will excite the fight fans to see what Blachowicz brings new to the table in his second title defense.
