This Morning fans baffled by woman with ghost lover called Edwardo – and everyone has the same questions

THIS Morning fans were today treated to a guest who claimed she was in a loving relationship – with a Victorian ghost called Edwardo.

The romantic spook, who she said was a soldier when he was alive, visited her in bed and grabbed her arm.

Brocade appeared on This Morning today talking about her ghost lover Edwardo

The woman, who was introduced only as Brocarde, said Edwardo visits her in the shower and draws love hearts for her.

He has also come to her in the night, has taken her arm and appears as a burning sensation in her heart.

She has also glimpsed him moving through the darkness of her bedroom.

But fans were quick to point out that since he can’t actually speak, how she knows the ghost’s name is Edwardo.

One wrote: “How does she know his names Eduardo though. This is what I need to know.”

Another joked: “Bloody foreign ghosts, coming over here and taking our women.”

A third wrote: “I mean, I can’t even get a text back but there’s a woman on This Morning who’s in a relationship with a ghost called Edwardo. #singlelife.”

Asked how they met, Brocarde told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: “I was at home, I’d had one of those horrible days – I’d fallen out with one of my friends.

“I was tossing and turning in bed and I literally just felt this burning sensation in my heart out of nowhere.

“Not a pain, it was physical burning and a deep sensation in my chest. It was alarming at the beginning, it was really intense and I was struggling to breathe.

“And then I was propelled forward. I was rigid. I was shaking and in tears and then literally nothing, I went cold.

“I reached over to my bed side table to try and turn the light on and this hand grabbed my arm and threw it back.”

Asked by Dermot when she first saw her future boyfriend, she replied: “I saw a figure just pass and then nothing.”
