Kyle Busch Slams Non-Playoff NASCAR Drivers at Texas Motor Speedway

After the NASCAR Cup race at the Texas Motor Speedway, many Playoff drivers were furious. Several of them, including Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch, had several complaints. Apparently, there were several occasions where drivers raced far too close to each other for their liking.

There’s a complete lack of respect everywhere all over the place,” fumed Busch. “So it doesn’t matter if it’s a playoff driver or a non-playoff driver. The way all this has gone on the last four or five years, with a newer generation coming in, has completely ruined it from what it used to be. Now it might be exciting for the fans, but all you get is more torn-up stuff. And next year, these car owners are not going to enjoy paying the bills on that new car. I guarantee it.”

Why is Kyle Busch so angry about this matter?

In his mind, the non-Playoff drivers have no business in interfering with the championship contenders. So when there was a massive wreck at the Texas Motor Speedway, there were a few Playoff drivers caught up in it. Among them were Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr and a few others.

As a result of this, the likes of Truex Jr and Joey Logano were the big losers at Texas. This is because, there were bumped around during the race and it compromised them. At this stage in the championship, none of the eight remaining drivers can afford a mistake.

Owing to this, getting caught up in a crash can be devastating in the championship battle. This is because, the loss of points could be a setback for drivers, especially if their rivals are still in contention. It is all the more infuriating when the Playoff drivers are merely innocent victims and not the instigators of the crash.
