Mick Schumacher Emotionally References His Father Michael Schumacher’s Appearance in Cars Movie
It is a known fact that current Haas F1 driver, Mick Schumacher, looks up to Michael Schumacher, not only as his father but also as a legend. And Schumacher Jr has often mentioned that he would do anything for the 7-time world champion to watch him race from the stands.
Well, amidst such an emotional bonding running between the two, Mick opened up about the one movie character he would be if he could. While most of his F1 colleagues opted for world-famous characters like James Bond, Batman, Harry Potter, and Iron Man, Mick had an entirely different interest.
What did Mick Schumacher say?
As reported by Pit Pass, the Haas driver revealed that he would be the Ferrari that plays a cameo role at the end of Cars 1. We’re sure some of you would have realized who that Ferrari is, but nevertheless, we’ll elaborate on it.
As the movie comes to an end, a strange 2004 Ferrari F430 arrives at Luigi’s Casa Della Tires with a couple of other cars after having heard about it from Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson). Luigi shouts with excitement, as the Ferrari was none other than Michael Schumacher, himself.
Luigi soon faints, and Schumacher speaks to Guido in Italian, “I hope your friend recovers. They tell me you are fantastic” and Guido faints too.
Can Mick be the next Michael?
This is a question many have always brought up since the Haas driver made his debut this season – ‘Can Mick beat Michael’s records in F1?’
Well, it is quite unfair to compare Mick with such a legendary driver. Mick does seem like a quality racing driver. However, even for someone with Michael’s blood running in the veins, beating such mountainous records are a bit too far-fetched.

Moreover, Mick seems to be stuck at Haas, especially with Ferrari signing bid contracts with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Hence, Mick has a long wait ahead before he could grab his chance at Ferrari. 2026, the year set to witness the dawn of a new F1 era, could be the year for Mick.
But, will that be too late for the 2020 F2 world champion, who is already 22 years old?
