Xbox To Announce a Surprise Event For the Fans Very Soon

Gaming giant Xbox celebrates its 20th anniversary this November and the surprises for the occasion don’t seem to end. In recent news, the officials have now seemingly confirmed an anniversary stream intended to celebrate the heritage of the gaming company and its fans. The event will “look back at 20 years of Xbox” and what’s to come in the coming years.

Xbox’s 20th anniversary is less than a month away. Following the announcement of the limited edition wireless controller and the headset along with other accessories, Xbox has something unique planned for the grand day.

In a blog post highlighting all the upcoming titles for all Xbox owners, the gaming company hid a special message for the community. The message stated, “We invite you to join us on Nov. 15 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Xbox and Halo with a fun, digital broadcast for fans around the globe. While we won’t announce any new games, this anniversary broadcast will be a special look back at 20 years of Xbox. We’ll share more details soon, so stay tuned.”

Interestingly, they specifically say they will not be announcing any “new games”. Even though they’ve got things on that front covered till late 2021, more titles are always welcome. The platform will soon be launching some of the most-anticipated games of the year, with the likes of Halo: Infinite and Age of Empires IV in the mix.

However, it is hard to ignore the mention of “new game” in the message. Although it is a shot in the dark, Xbox certainly could announce the return of some classics from the 360 or the original console for their new consoles with Game Pass, which would align perfectly with the theme of the event.

The event is scheduled for 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on November 15, 2021, with more information to be shared soon via an official announcement.
