Ben Simmons Reacts to His Sixers Suspension With Putting His New Jersey Mansion Up for Sale

Ben Simmons has made his mind to leave the Philadelphia Sixers and his actions are speaking louder than his words. Last week, the 25-YO returned to Philly after clearing the safety protocols. It initially seemed as if he was ready to iron out the differences, but that was too novice of an expectation.

The star point guard did join the team practice but mostly worked out all by himself. In his mind, it appeared as if the star already considered the 76ers players as his ‘former teammates’ and had the least of the respect for the team’s head coach. So now, he has taken that even further by placing his beloved mansion on sale.

Ben Simmons no more willing to live anywhere near Philadelphia

As per a fresh update, the 3x NBA All-Star has put his Moorestown, New Jersey mansion on sale. The asking price for this luxurious property is $5 million, almost double to its value two years ago in November 2019.

The 10,477 sq. ft. bungalow is some 23 miles away from the Sixers’ home court, a place where Ben would rather not go anytime soon. Plus, it has a well lit game room, a bar, a candy room, a huge fish tank, a theatre-like movie room, a fireplace, and boasts oak hardwood flooring.

This decision comes after he already made an extravagant $17.5 million real estate investment in California. Yes, he already owns a farmhouse in the Hidden Hills, outside of LA, which he purchased when this trade saga began.

The Young Socialite and his lack of socializing

During the Sixers practice, Ben was physically present and mentally absent. Even during a team huddle, he looked at the proceeding from the background and sheepishly ignored it. Take a look –

This, after he denied the orders of coach Doc Rivers and kept a foul, stubborn attitude all through the practice. Later, notable names like Adam Silver too condemned the tantrums from Ben and then Tobias Harris & Danny Green followed the suit

So now, the ask is for Joel Embiid to demand a quick trade for Ben Simmons so the Sixers can proceed into the season with peace. Do you think all this will end anytime soon? Help us know in the comments section below.
