Chicago Bears Legend Wants to Punch Aaron Rodgers In the Face After ‘I Own You’ Comment

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers enjoyed a stunning season in 2020. The veteran NFL star made won his 3rd MVP award after leading his team to the NFC Championship Game for the second consecutive year. He’s picked up in the same vein this season with a couple of eye-catching displays over the last six weeks.

The Packers sit comfortably at the summit of the NFC North with a 5-1 record. Rodgers, is in contention for the MVP award yet again, throwing for 1,436 yards with 12 passing TDs against 3 interceptions in the build-up to Week 7.

However, the California-born athlete faced the ire of Chicago Bears fans following last week’s game at Soldier Field.

Former Chicago Bears linesman lashes out at Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers great Aaron Rodgers was at his dominant best in Week 6. The 37-year old completed 17 of his 23 attempted passes as the Packers made their way to a comfortable 24-14 win over their eternal rivals. Rodgers threw for 195 yards with two passing TDs and later gloated that he owned the Bears which did not sit well with the Chicago fans.

Former Bears linesman, Olin Kreutz, spoke to Chicago radio station 670 The Score recently and gave his thoughts on the reigning MVP’s comments.

“I’d like to punch him in his face. When you see that, that’s your first reaction … You have won a lot of games at Soldier Field. Just because you’re right, it doesn’t make you right for doing it,” Kreutz said on the show before adding that he would like to say more but that it wouldn’t be appropriate for a live broadcast.

Well, whether the Bears like it or not, Rodgers’ record against them speaks for itself. He puts his money where his mouth is and lives up to the occasion year after year.
