Bel-Air star Adrian Holes was involved in a fatal car crash after striking a man who was lying on a freeway in Los Angeles.
The Canadian actor, who plays Philip Banks in the upcoming reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, hit the man on the 110 freeway north of Sunset Boulevard on Monday evening, police have confirmed.
The 47-year-old has reportedly claimed that he was unable to avoid hitting the unnamed man who was laying down in the middle of the road.
Sources told TMZ that the two drivers behind Holmes were also unable to avoid the man, and both ‘made contact’ with him as well.
The unnamed individual has died as a result of his injuries.
Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor for the drivers involved in the fatal accident.

Holmes will soon be seen in the new Peacock series providing a gritty reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
The popular 90s sitcom starred Will Smith as a fictionalised version of himself, a streetwise teenager who is sent to live with his wealthy aunt and uncle in their Bel Air mansion after getting into a fight in his hometown of Philadelphia.
Smith starred alongside the late James Avery, Alfonso Ribeiro, Karyn Parsons, Tatyana M. Ali, Joseph Marcell and Janet Hubert-Whitten/Daphne Maxwell Reid in the sitcom, which ran for six seasons from 1990 to 1996.
However, the reboot is based on Morgan Cooper’s 2019 viral spec trailer and producers have described it as a serialised one-hour ‘dramatic analogue’.
