Kate Garraway looked healthy and happy as she attended an event hosted by Prince Charles today, after requiring hospital treatment for a painful inflamed cornea.
The Good Morning Britain co-anchor attended the Prince’s Trust Awards Trophy Ceremony in London today, joining guests including Hugh Dennis, Annie Lycett, Colin Salmon and the Prince of Wales himself at St James’s Palace.
The awards recognise young people from across the UK who succeeded against the odds and had a positive impact on their local community.
Kate looked to be in top spirits and appears to have fully healed from a recent illness which required treatment in hospital.
She posed in a pink and purple dress with fellow presenter Fearne Cotton, who wore a smart pink suit to the event.
She also took the time to meet fellow guests, and shook hands with Prince Charles, before quickly delving into a lively discussion with him.

Last weekend the presenter shared of herself to Instagram showing her left eye half-shut and looking extremely painful.
She revealed she had received hospital treatment for an inflamed cornea, ‘probably by wearing my contacts for too long on some very long days’.

The dangerous inflammation, known as Keratitis, can lead to blindness in the eye if left untreated, but luckily Kate was well looked after by the NHS and went home with eye drops.
However, Kate admitted that she almost didn’t get the eye looked at by doctors as she was rushing home to be with her ill husband, Derek Draper.
She said it was a ‘further reminder if you are a carer, parent or anyone really you have to sometimes put yourself first otherwise you are no use to anyone you are trying to help’.
