Strictly Come Dancing 2021 news – Tilly Ramsay ‘chubby’ comments spark MASSIVE fan campaign to sack LBC host Steve Allen

FANS of Strictly are rallying around Tilly Ramsay after a radio host called her a “chubby little thing” – and have demanded he faces the SACK.

Ramsay, daughter of TV chef Gordon, hit out at LBC’s Steve Allen for the comments calling them “a step too far”.

But despite failing to address the controversy on his radio show today, Ofcom has confirmed it is currently assessing the complaints. after a slew of angry fans hit back at Allen.

Campaigner Brie Read said: “People need to be held accountable for such awful comments like this, as they can be extremely hurtful and potentially dangerous for a persons’ wellbeing. 

“The language, labelling, and analysis of bodies in the media and on social media makes it near impossible to accept our bodies, especially for young people and those in the public eye, like Tilly.”

It comes after this year’s Strictly judges joined in condemning Allen’s unprovoked tirade on the star.

Writing on Instagram, Shirley Ballas said: “My darling, having been through this myself I hear you. To me you are beautiful just as you are.”
