Surprise Starfield Video Details the Futuristic Setting of the Xbox Exclusive Title

Bethesda has recently released a surprise Starfield trailer that gives a lot of information about the futuristic setting and gameplay of the upcoming Xbox Exclusive title. The sci-fi world showcases a wide range of concept art along with brief gameplay. The one-and-a-half-minute-long video is extremely detailed and gives a good feel about the title, and the last few seconds of the video show some gameplay clips.

The Settled System

The trailer introduces the audience to the Settled System. The area in space is located approximately 50 light-years from the main solar system. Basically, this area is the primary location in Starfield. The game is mainly set in the year 2330 in a relatively small pocket of the milky way.

Approximately 20 years before the start of Starfield, the two largest factions in the Settled System – United Colonies and Freestar Collective were engaged in an ugly colony war for control over the main Settled System.

Starfield: gameplay footage and story

It created a lot of havoc in there. However, today the community enjoys uneasy peace in several areas, but the main Settled System is still dangerous for the community. There are several human threats out there. Above all, it’s not just the two groups players have to encounter, other major threats within the system include Thusggis Spacer, religious Zealots, and Mercenaries.

At the very end of the trailer, you can get brief gameplay. The gameplay footage is extremely small (a few seconds) and shows off a small clip of rocket take-off, and unfortunately that’s literally it. Hopefully, Bethesda will release a full gameplay trailer of Starfield soon in the future.

Starfield is the first original RPG title of Bethesda in 25 years. Starfield is all set to release exclusively in Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC on 11 November 2022. Well, you have plenty of time till then to hunt down Xbox Series X or S restock before November 2022. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day 1.
