Ulrika Jonsson has reportedly signed up for the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating.
The former Gladiators presenter, 54, ‘jumped at the chance’ to be on the show and meet someone new and hopefully find love.
A source told The Sun: ‘The idea of being properly matched up to someone by experts is ideal for her after a few failed romances.
‘Ulrika is a big name and has an interesting back story.
‘She is one of the older celebs to have taken part in the series and it adds a totally different element to the show.
‘Plus she’s a great sport and knows what makes great TV.’

Ulrika will be handing her love life over to dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson alongside client coordinator Tom Read Wilson, with narrator Rob Beckett commenting on her every move.
Ulrika’s first marriage was to cameraman John Turnbull in 1990 until their split five years later, before marrying Lance Gerrard-Wright – a contestant from a dating show she was hosting – in 2003 before they split in 2006.

Then in 2008, Ulrika married Brian Monet, and it seemed like she was finally in with a chance of having found a partner for life, however after 11 years of marriage the pair separated.
The presenter, 53, decided to give dating online a go during lockdown, but came to the realisation that some guys out there have ‘lost the ability to be decent and respectful’.
Calling herself a ‘technophobe’ and ‘old-fashioned’, Ulrika explained that she’d always brushed off setting herself up on Tinder, but after being persuaded otherwise, she threw herself in and was out looking for a toyboy – setting her age range for a match to 26 to 50.
‘My oldest child, Cameron, is 26 and it would feel a bit thorny to throw my nets out to younger fish,’ she joked.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to Ulrika Jonsson and Celebs Go Dating for comment.
The new series of Celebs Go Dating will air in 2022.
