WWE Crown Jewel: Goldberg sends Bobby Lashley crashing off the stage through a table with huge spear

Goldberg beat Bobby Lashley in epic fashion at WWE Crown Jewel as he sent his rival crashing off the stage.
The Hall of Famer was battling his bitter foe in a No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere grudge match in Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening and he made sure the bout ended in a memorable way.
The action was intense and brutal as the two stars fought in the culmination of a very personal story, and Goldberg won the match after spearing the All Mighty off the ramp and through a table to the floor below.
It was a legitimately shocking moment that left viewers at home – and in the arena – totally stunned.
Even the result was somewhat surprising as many might have expected Lashley to win – but given Goldberg was fighting for his son’s honour, it’s probably only right that he won.
It was one of his better matches since returning to semi-regular action, and he even withstood interference from The Hurt Business members Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander shortly before the emphatic ending.
It was a much more positive night for Goldberg in Saudi Arabia than the last time he wrestled there, which was his disastrous bout with The Undertaker – a match that went off the rails so badly, referee Mike Chioda considered ‘calling in audible’ to end it early over fears for their safety.
He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘It went downhill after Goldberg got gashed open in the turnbuckle, got concussed. He was badly concussed and he got through the match, but barely. That’s when I was kinda worried because I thought, “oh my God!”
‘After the suplex, they almost broke their necks. “Oh my God, let’s get this done,” he was so concussed.’
